L’Oreal Professionnel Color Trophy Competition

Edmonton, Alberta – Edmonton’s hair stylist extraordinaire, Paulina Truong, and her team have set their sights to attain first place in the L’Oreal Professionnel Color Trophy competition. They achieved first place in the prairie region of the semi-finals in the prestigious hair competition. As one of the finalists, Blue Gemini will be required to recreate their interpretation of the photo they entered into the contest, including color, styling, make-up and wardrobe in Montreal on January 24, 2010. If the team wins the Color Trophy they will travel to Paris to learn from renowned stylists and colorists from around the globe. The competition has extra meaning this year because its L’Oreal Professionnel’s 100th anniversary celebration. “We are thrilled to be selected as one of 15 semi-finalists across Canada“, says Paulina Truong, Owner and Head Stylist of Blue Gemini Hair Studio. “The support from our family, friends and clients is amazing. We would love to bring the Color Trophy home to Edmonton!” To add more excitement to the mix the team is also competing for New Team and Young Colorist trophies which will also be awarded in Montreal on January 24, 2010.
